On January 12, 2007 my dad was diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer. I hope this blog will keep his family and friends up-to-date on his progress. Please feel free to post your own comments. My family and I appreciate all of your prayers, support and encouragement as we travel this journey.

My dad, Philippe (aka Phil), and my mom, Judy, have been married since 1969. My parents' two children are me and my brother Michael. My husband Mark and I have three children (Rhys, Muriel and Kyle) who are Phil's only grandchildren. My mom and dad also have a 10-pound dog named Tilly.

Dear Ortiz Family,
It really does take a village to raise a child. Reading Karen's message reminded me of this. We really did have a wonderful childhood with such incredible role models. Please know all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
